Cooler weather and shorter days – one of my favourite times of the year (simply because all my favourite sports are either heating up or kicking off)! Footy is flying and even though my Bombers don’t have the best record, the young guns are looking promising. I’ve been back on the ice playing hockey and man it feels good to get out there again – it’s been way too long! My Toronto Blue Jays are back and looking strong and my Edmonton Oilers are preparing for a deep run in the playoffs in the NHL. What more could a sport tragic like myself want?!
My partner Nicole and I also took a big step and tied the knot in March and I’m very proud to now call her my wife. My girls Charlotte and Isobelle are back to school and busy with their respective sports. Isobelle has started playing basketball and Charlotte has joined a swim squad. My stepson Jordan is back playing footy as well, so needless to say, our weekends – like most of you, I’m sure – are jam packed!
From a business perspective, it’s been a busy first quarter. We’ve had record breaking months in quotes, submissions and completions; and that’s thanks to all the support you have shown us. We’ve also had ongoing requests from new advisers to be set up with NEOS codes, the majority of those being referrals from our adviser advocates. If you have colleagues who haven’t written business with NEOS, please ask them to contact us and we’ll have them experiencing the NEOS Experience in no time at all!
On another note, as many of you would be aware, there are some big changes coming to IP in October, so now is the time to ensure you’re reviewing your clients’ IP contracts to make sure they have the best cover in place prior to these changes coming into effect. And remember to keep in mind our 3-year rate guarantee. It’s great to give your clients premium certainty during this period of change.
Before I sign off, I’d also like to wish those of you who are sitting the next FASEA exam the very best of luck! Don’t forget you must comply with FASEA’s Code of Ethics from 1 January 2022 to maintain your ‘existing adviser’ status and avoid the need to meet new entrant requirements. As always, the team and I are here to help so feel free to reach out if you need anything in the lead up to EOFY or the October IP changes.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership, and we look forward to many more successes together!

We’d love to hear about your experience
NEOS is a life insurance business focused solely on the advised channel. This means that our success is dependent on your success. If there’s anything you feel we could be doing better or any suggestions for how we can improve the NEOS Experience, please let us know.
While this edition of our newsletter has highlighted some of the great successes we’ve recently had, we’re not too proud to think that we can’t be better.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself as your State Manager or alternatively your BDM. We’d love to hear from you! And of course, positive feedback is also appreciated.
