Since our last State Manager update, we’ve seen a few new additions to the team.
Marianna Foo joined us in the last weeks of 2020 and Emerald Kyio in January this year. Both Mariana and Emerald take on the roles of Service Consultant and there’s a good chance you may have spoken with or seen an email from them by now. This now brings the WA / SA state office to a total of 10 staff to ensure our service and support standards remain as good as ever.
Both Kon Vaporakis and Steve Colliver (our Senior Underwriters) continue to maintain great turnaround times for both pre-assessments and underwriting decisions. This is a regular compliment we receive from advisers when in the field – something that sets us apart from our competitors.
Like you, we also have a lot going on at the moment. We continue to build our footprint in both SA and WA. Although we’re now tracking towards 2.5 years in SA and our 3rd year in WA, we’re still coming across advisers who are using NEOS for the first time. These new advisers love the experience of a dedicated underwriter and service consultant. Which, as you would appreciate, saves time and creates efficiencies within your business. Our 3-year rate guarantee also continues to resonate extremely well and we think it’s one of the reasons we’ve received such huge support from advisers around the country.
We’ve also continued to grow our library of content to bring value to your business and help with your CPD hours. So, when you see an invitation from either John Griffiths, Melissa Reay or Reon Botha, please RSVP and join us for the session and extend the invitation to your support staff. We’re acutely aware that your time is precious; that’s why we’re making sure that each of our webinars are short and snappy (only 30 minutes!) and value add to your business.
Before we sign off, we would like to wish those sitting the next FASEA exam the very best of luck! Don’t forget you must comply with FASEA’s Code of Ethics from 1 January 2022 to maintain your ‘existing adviser’ status and avoid the need to meet new entrant requirements. As always, the team and I are here to help so feel free to reach out if you need anything in the lead up to EOFY.
Reon and Melissa
We’d love to hear about your experience
NEOS is a life insurance business focused solely on the advised channel. This means that our success is dependent on your success. If there’s anything you feel we could be doing better or any suggestions for how we can improve the NEOS Experience, please let us know.
While this edition of our newsletter has highlighted some of the great successes we’ve recently had, we’re not too proud to think that we can’t be better.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself as your State Manager or alternatively your BDM. We’d love to hear from you! And of course, positive feedback is also appreciated.
